With the exciting close of the U.S Open this past Sunday, I thought it best to make this weeks post about the style going happenings on and off the court during the tournament.
Polo continued their partnership this year outfitting all on-court officials including ball persons and line judges. This years outfits were navy tech polos receiving a pop of color along from neon details that followed the shoulder line and side body. Of course you couldn’t over look the large neon green iconic polo graphic across the back. The always impressive designers at Adidas delivered a similar color palate in the styles created for their sponsored players including Angelique Kerber (women’s final winner), Simona Halep, and Ana Ivanovic. Caroline Wozniacki rocked the courts in designs from the Adidas Stella McCartney line. Continuing the trend of neon accents, Nike’s designers gave their players a neon ombre affect across the body with the transition of bright neon into solid white or black. Nike’s all-star list of players includes Serena Willlams, Madison Keys, Lucia Safarova, and Petra Kvitova.
