1) Can't live without beauty product

Rose water, coconut oil, nothing is better than lathering up with coconut oil to moisturize and spritzing rose water on your face for an instant refresh. I love makeup, but don’t wear it regularly to let my skin breathe, my go to minimal makeup would have to include maybelline volum’express falsies mascara and mac highlighter in shell.

2) Ride or die fashion staple

SO TOUGH. I want to say my favorite go to leather jacket, but I’m gonna have to go with my Freebird dakota boots, so versatile and the best for festival dancing.

3) Most magical place you've ever been?

I feel amazingly blessed to have encountered so many magical places in the world and practicing bringing awareness to being present I see the magic and wonder almost everywhere I go. When it comes down to it, my classic magic is along the Sassafras river in Maryland with the stars and lightning bugs twinkling at night against the water. The energy and beauty of the meditation gardens in Encinitas is one of my favorite places on earth that I enjoyed often when I lived in San Diego. && Have to give a shoutout to Sedona Arizona, and it’s unique, breathtaking beauty and energy, I recognized the powerful energy there as a teenager and still love and appreciate it even more when I revisit.

4) Go to workout

Right now it’s Barre, specifically The Dailey Method, the easiest to motivate myself to get to these classes because the community and the results are NO JOKE.

5) Your Perfect dinner in?

Mexican anything, usually refried beans, guac, rice, sautéed mushrooms or roasted chili spiced cauliflower, elotes corn, and rajas poblanos (sounds like a lot but easier to whip up than you think and so damn good! post coming sooner than later)

6) Your dream vacation?

3 months traveling throughout Southeast Asia with my love. Thailand, Vietnam, The Phillippines, Indonesia, etc.

7) Favorite book?

My favorite book growing up was Heidi by Johanna Spyri, Also I’ve always been fascinated by far east culture so I loved Imperial Woman by Pearl S Buck (local bucks county author) and Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, which is also one of my favorite movies, but the most inspiring book I recommend to endless people is Meditation for the love of it, by Sally Kempton.

8) If you could have a super power what would it be?

Fly, leisurely AND at the speed of light when necessary.

9) Past or present style icon?

Stevie Nicks the OG boho queen. and Iris Apfel I love her quirky, artistic, iconic approach to fashion. Fictionally hands down Carrie Bradshaw all day every day.

10) Best advice you have ever received?

“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do. There are many ways to kneel and kiss the ground” RUMI-via Sally Kempton Awakening Shakti: The transformative power of the Goddesses of Yoga

1) Can't live without beauty product
It is a tie between Shea Butter and Mascara,  I tend to have really dry skin and shea butter has become my new go to moisturizer. I use it on both my face and body and find that it gives my complexion a healthy glow. I love makeup, but when it comes to my day to day I often keep makeup to a bare minimum. Mascara is the one beauty product I never go without and my go to for that is Benefit's, They're Real!  Mascara.

2) Ride or die fashion staple ?

I’m all about my Jewels. The right accessories turn even your most boring outfits into conversation starters. I for one am known to for always piling on jewelry regardless if I’m rocking sweatpants or a maxi dress. I’m really into unique, one of a kind artisan pieces. My current obsession is Kaya Tinsman’s collection Little Gypsy Bones.

3) Most magical place you've ever been?

Last year my mom and I travelled through southeast Asia together. I certainly experienced some of the most magical landscapes during that trip but my favorite part of that trip was our time in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Not only are the temples at Angkor Wat completely breath taking, but in all my travels I have never experienced a culture of people that radiate kindness and hospitality quite like the Cambodians.

4) Go to workout

This is another hard one, for cardio the tie is between running and swimming. For toning and strengthening nothing beats a strong Yoga practice.

5) Your Perfect dinner in?

For me this is very seasonally dependent. I’m the type of person who really craves heavier comfort foods during the winter months and as the temperature heats up I desire lighter and cooler food combinations. So really my perfect meal in is created by going to my local farmers market on a saturday and creating a meal that evening around my fresh and seasonal finds of the day.

6) Your dream vacation?

Even though I have been blessed in my life and have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the world. My itch to travel will never be satiated and I will say there is a massive list of dream vacations but I will give you one…

To visit Iceland and stay at the Kakslauttanen Resort. I’ve always wanted to view the Northern lights and what better way to do it then from one of the resorts famous glass igloos.

7) Favorite book?

Elena Brower’s Art of Attention.  Elena is one of the most inspiring yoga teacher’s I have ever had the pleasure of practicing and studying with. Her book is a visually stunning guide that will help you to expand and deepen your practice.

8) If you could have a super power what would it be?
Teleportation! I hate traffic.  I go to great lengths to plan my commutes so I can spend as little time as possible sitting in my car. Plus, think of how easy traveling would become!

9) Past or present style icon?

To choose just one is so hard….. My style is mood dependent and changes day to day so I’m going to have to go with the original style chameleon, Marlene Dietrich.

10) Best advice you have ever received?
My dad was a huge Vince Lombardi fan and often quoted him. One quote in particular always stuck with me......

"The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling, but in raising again when you fall."
